Hoy, conocido como Country Club Lima Hotel, simboliza un cap\u00edtulo vivo de la historia de Lima. Fundado en los a\u00f1os veinte, se ha mantenido como el espacio predilecto de los lime\u00f1os, distingui\u00e9ndose por su exclusividad, calidad, elegancia y distinci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En mayo de 1925, la \u00abSociedad An\u00f3nima Propietaria del Country Club\u00bb adquiri\u00f3 terrenos de las haciendas Conde de San Isidro, Matalechuzas y Orrantia, con el prop\u00f3sito de erigir el \u00abCountry Club\u00bb. Este proyecto se ubic\u00f3 alrededor de la actual Av. Javier Prado, conectando las avenidas Arequipa y Brasil, cerca de Magdalena. En 1926, el \u00abLima Country Club\u00bb naci\u00f3 de la uni\u00f3n de miembros y clubes de la \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n<p>El edificio del Country Club se empez\u00f3 a construir en agosto de 1925, inaugur\u00e1ndose el 8 de febrero de 1927 por el presidente Augusto B. Legu\u00eda Salcedo, ocasi\u00f3n para la cual se ofreci\u00f3 un almuerzo al Presidente, junto a su Gabinete de Ministros y una serie de personalidades pol\u00edticas, intelectuales y art\u00edsticas de la ciudad. Desde entonces, se convirti\u00f3 en el escenario principal de eventos significativos de la elite lime\u00f1a. A lo largo de sus m\u00e1s de 70 a\u00f1os, ha hospedado a figuras clave de la pol\u00edtica, el arte y el espect\u00e1culo, incluyendo al Duque Windsor, el presidente Charles de Gaulle y la actriz Ava Gardner, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>Desde diciembre de 1996, el Country Club Lima Hotel es propiedad del Real Club de Lima. El Consorcio Inmobiliario Los Portales gestiona el hotel, preservando su herencia, tradicional belleza y magnificencia. El Hotel Country Club&nbsp;es declarado<br><\/p><p>Monumento Hist\u00f3rico por Resoluci\u00f3n del Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n y el Instituto Nacional de Cultura.&nbsp;<\/p><p>El aniversario del Real Club de Lima se celebra cada 25 de febrero. La membres\u00eda de nuestra instituci\u00f3n est\u00e1 integrada por empresarios y profesionales en los diferentes sectores de las actividades econ\u00f3micas, pol\u00edticas, diplom\u00e1ticas, sociales y deportivas de nuestro pa\u00eds.
